What’s that name?
Hi. I’m Alex. The name Studio 353 comes from an old friend who will always be dear to me. I’d be up late writing, and I’d notice that it was always 3:53 AM. A palindrome. I started to use the time as a reference point in my work, and years later when I was brainstorming names, Studio 353 came up. I forgot about it, time passed, we don’t speak anymore. But once I saw it again, I knew I had to use it. I want to make art that’s honest. Representative of how forwards and backwards everything is. Hence the name. Studio 353.
Now, back to Earth. I present Studio 353 LLC as my format to create quality sports content through the 353 Hockey division, and creative, narrative work under the name Studio 353. The goal for 353 Hockey is to serve athletes across the world looking to up their games via video, while allowing Studio 353 to flourish as a creative outlet serving athletes, teams, independent brands, musicians, and narrative work.
This is just the beginning. This might look different in six months, or a year. But I am here. We are doing this. Let’s get to work.
