BRUINS DEMO REEL
THE PROJECT
A video I shot and edited covering a practice for the NHL’s Boston Bruins
Sent as a demo reel to the Bruin’s video team
MY NOTES
I was asked to come and shoot a practice for the Bruins as an example of my videography and editing work.
I was given free reign over everything creative, so I went with a song that was low-key yet hype, Mobb Deep’s Shook Ones, Part II.
Being mostly an editor, it was fun to be able to use my camera and showcase my work. I struggled with the exposure in a rink as brightly lit as Warrior Ice Arena, and some of the shots in the final cut I think show that.
I included shots of downtown Boston, and more specifically my dorm at BU to connect my past with a possible future.
