THE PROJECT

A recruitment video made for top 2026 NHL Draft prospect Luke Schairer’s official BU visit. Played on the scoreboard during said visit.

MY NOTES

Head recruiter Joe Pereira, Equipment Manager Mike Scire and I worked together to procure a custom nameplate with SCHAIRER on the back of it and stitched it to his preferred #14 jersey. We had a shoot day where we filmed Mike sharpening skates, stitching the jersey, etc.

Joe had a different idea in mind when it came to the final product, but I took the reigns and surprised him with this cut. It was approved within three rounds of editing and was on the scoreboard within the week.

Schairer ended up committing to BU and is slated to arrive in 2026.
